Hanna Bachmann was truly convincing in the works after the intermission. Claude Debussy’s cycle Pour le piano stood out through an almost dramatic dynamic differentiation that immediately caught the listener’s attention. In Robert Schumann’s Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op. 26, Hanna Bachmann brought together a wide palette of tonal colors, ranging from dance-like lightness to an almost staggering passage, and even touches of melancholy that emerge in the middle movements.
