Whilst the excitement and the joy for Christmas heightens, each day awaits you with its own surprise as a door of the digital Advent calendar opens.Hanna Bachmann is going to interpret a new piece of music in two- to five-minute videos, and enhance it with a few words to introduce the music and its composer. You will get to meet 18 male and 6 female composers, who – following the spirit of the Advent calendar – will remain secret for now and whose identity we will uncover together over the course of December. What can be revealed already though: On your journey through the world of piano music we will explore piano pieces from 250 years of music history, composed by famous as well as relatively obscure composers whose native countries stretch far beyond Europe’s borders. With this Musical Advent Calendar, you gift yourself and your loved ones an exceptional cultural experience!

Thus, you will be able to open the new window of the Advent calendar within two mouse clicks. All videos will stay online, so you will have the opportunity to enjoy the video of the specific day, as well as the previous ones wherever, whenever and as often as you wish!
