What the Forest Tells…

The forest is a symbol for nature itself and has inspired numerous composers and their music. With piano pieces by Robert Schumann, Jean Sibelius, Josef Rheinberger, Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Roy Agnew we immerse into the woods – a mysterious, sometimes even scary or peaceful world that has always been a place of longing and source of inspiration.

Around the World on 88 Keys

Hanna Bachmann takes her audience on a journey around the globe and performs piano music by composers from all over the world. Selected countries we visit are Austria, Turkey, Ukraine, China, Australia, Argentina, Cuba and the US – crossing the continents and also travelling in time.

The Year

Inspired by her long-awaited journey to Italy, Fanny Hensel composed her great piano cycle ‘The Year’, consisting of the twelve months and a postlude. He husband, the painter Wilhelm Hensel provided an artwork to each month. Hanna Bachmann brings this into the present by collaborating with the South Tyrolean painter Christian Stl Holzknecht. He was inspired by the music and painted the months on wood. These paintings can be projected during the concert and also be shown in an exhibition.

Schwarzenberg Trio

Franz-Markus Siegert (2nd concert master of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra), Roland Lindenthal (principal cellist of the Wiener Volksoper) and Hanna Bachmann have played as the Schwarzenberg Trio with great enthusiasm since 2020. Besides wellknown pieces, they also focus on sharing rarely played repertoire with their audience. Concert tours see them perform in Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Germany and at various festivals in Austria. The ensemble has started their own concert series in Vienna in 2021. Their second album will be released in early 2026.
