‛Hanna Bachmann plays with great musicality, creativity and technical skill. Her delicate sound and her interpretation are a testament to a mature personality at the piano’
– Kirill Petrenko, chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic
Having firmly established herself as an internationally recognized recitalist, the 1993-born musician travels extensively, not only in her home country of Austria, but also to Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Slovakia, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Notably, she has performed in the Wiener Musikverein, the Berlin Philharmonie, at the Beethoven House Bonn, at Bonn’s Beethovenfest as well as the city’s Beethoven@home festival and at the Beethoven-Campus. Furthermore, she performed as soloist with the orchestra Sinfonietta Vorarlberg and at the Bodenseefestival.
In addition, concerts frequently lead her outside Europe: She gave her successful Americas-debut in Mexico in 2018, that included performances with the Orquesta Sinfónica de San Luis Potosí under the baton of José Miramontes Zapata and giving a masterclass at the music faculty of the renowned Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). 2019 was highlighted by return performances with Mexico’s Orquesta Sinfónica de San Luis Potosí as soloist of Clara Schumann’s piano concerto and a promising concert tour to the US and Canada, including recitals in New York, Washington, Ottawa and Quebec. In addition she gave her successful debut in Israel in late 2019.
Hanna’s debut CD with works by Janacek, Beethoven, Ullmann and Schumann was released in November 2016 by the German label TYXart. The press has praised her ‘astonishing maturity’ and ‘promising future perspectives’ (Klassik.com), and has acclaimed her interpretations as ‘pianistic-musical promises’ (Glarean-Magazine).
Her second album Plaisanteries with Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations is dedicated to the topic humour and was published by the Austrian label Gramola in winter 18/19.
Together with Franz-Markus Siegert and Roland Lindenthal she forms the Schwarzenberg Trio. Their first recording was released by Quinton in spring 2021.
